〈眾神降之環島夢〉以電玩遊戲呈現臺灣從白晝到夜晚的一日風景。作品將遊戲互動納入影像創作，突破傳統動畫與影像作品由創作者向觀眾單向傳遞的觀看方式，讓玩家透過操作參與其中。藝術家多年來觀察臺灣的經驗，則構成作品的創作骨幹。

作品取材自多年田野調查累積的影像，運用大量具有臺灣生活特色的視覺元素，重新組構出兼具在地性與似真如幻感的「超台風景」。隨著遊戲中的時間由白晝轉向夜晚，各種仍以不同形式存在於當代生活空間的景觀交錯浮現，建構出一趟全新的環島旅程，引導玩家重新發現臺灣風景的真實樣貌。

「眾神降」系列探討各種被神格化與權力化的象徵符碼，如何逐漸介入並控制我們的生活。作品透過再造臺灣城市中的重要景觀，讓觀者在操作與遊玩的過程中，重新探索自己所處的生活空間。

副標題「環島夢」指向當代臺灣人持續進行的自我探索與身分認同之旅。作品希望呈現屬於這個時代的臺灣風景，讓玩家在日夜變換之間尋找新的可能，並重新反思自己的生活。

Using a video game to portray Taiwan’s changing landscape over the course of a single day. By incorporating gameplay into a moving-image work, it moves beyond the conventional one-way transmission of ideas from creator to viewer. Instead, players participate through their actions, creating a reciprocal exchange. The artist’s years of observing Taiwan form the conceptual foundation of the work.

Drawing on images accumulated through years of field research, the work brings together a vast array of visual elements distinctive to everyday life in Taiwan, reassembling them into a “hyper-Taiwanese landscape” that is locally rooted yet poised between reality and illusion. As time shifts from day to night, landscapes that continue to exist in different forms within contemporary living environments emerge and intersect, constructing a new journey around the island and inviting players to rediscover Taiwan’s landscapes as they truly are.

The Gods Descending series examines how symbols invested with divinity and authority gradually enter and come to control our lives. By reconstructing key features of Taiwan’s urban landscape, the work encourages viewers to explore the spaces they inhabit through interaction and play.

The title Taiwan Miracle refers to the ongoing journey of self-discovery and identity formation undertaken by people in contemporary Taiwan. The work seeks to portray a Taiwanese landscape unique to this era, inviting players to discover new possibilities amid the transition between day and night and to reflect anew on their own lives.
